Here's what you need to know.

If you're not booked in advance and you need me right now, I might still be able to help. But it works differently than standard cover — here's how.

⚠️ This service is for true emergencies only

🚲 Mechanical failure
🩹 Minor injury (where you don’t need 999 but can’t ride on)
🌧️ Unexpected weather, road closures, or safety concern

Not covered:
✘ You're tired
✘ You've had a long coffee stop
✘ You just can’t be bothered riding back

💳 Payment is required in advance

Emergency call-outs are charged at a higher rate than pre-booked cover.
You must pay before I leave to collect you.

Distance (from Aspatria)

 Band 1 (0–15 miles) – £45

 Band 2 (15.1–45 miles) – £60

 Band 3 (45.1+ miles) – £75+

Prices are for a single emergency recovery of you and up to 2 bikes. No passengers. Once you send your What3Words location, I’ll confirm the price before you pay.

🕐 Response time

Typical arrival is 30–90 minutes, depending on your location
If I’m already out or unavailable, you’ll be told immediately
Remote or high-altitude roads may take longer due to access

📍 Where I’ll go

I cover most of the Lake District within reach of standard 2WD roads.
You must be:

On a public road or tarmac path (no bridleways or gravel trails)
In a location that’s safe to access by vehicle
Able to wait until I arrive — I do not collect bikes left unattended
