Cover must be booked in advance — same-day cover is not available.

✔ Accidental injury while riding (non-emergency medical – we are not paramedics)
✔ Recovery for you and up to 2 standard bikes (no passengers)
✔ Drop-off to accommodation, repair facility, or a safe location of your choice

3. What’s Not Covered

✘ Requests made without a valid booking or QR code
✘ Requests made for same-day cover — cover must be purchased in advance

4. Fair Use Policy

LDCR is designed for genuine mechanical failure or injury-related recovery.
Abuse of cover (e.g. frequent non-emergency callouts, inaccurate details, or misuse) may result in cancellation without refund and possible refusal of future service.

5. Rider Responsibilities

  • Carry your own spares: tubes, levers, pump/CO2, and tubeless plugs if needed

  • Maintain your bike in a roadworthy condition (serviced as per manufacturer guidelines)

  • Be able to remove wheels if required to load the van

  • Carry your personalised QR code (on phone or printed)

  • Be more than 1 mile from accommodation or open repair shop

  • Be located on a public road that a standard 2WD vehicle can reach

  • Provide your What3Words location during callout
(If no signal: send your last known location, describe visible landmarks, and the direction you were heading)

6. Emergency Callouts

In the event of an emergency:
🚑 Call 999 first if medical attention is needed — LDCR is not an ambulance service.
🚲 If you're taken by ambulance, we can collect your bike(s), provided you had valid cover.
LDCR does not transport passengers under any circumstances.
For full details of how callouts work, including expected delays, low-signal areas, and what happens after you request help, please see our Emergency Callouts page.

11. Zero Tolerance Policy

Aggression, abuse, or threatening behaviour toward Jo or any partners will result in:

  • Immediate cancellation of your service and any future cover

  • No refund

  • Police involvement if necessary
LDCR reserves the right to withdraw service and use the vehicle as a safe space if under threat.

12. Liability

LDCR accepts no liability for:
